Your lawn's real problems are underground
A soil test measures pH, finds nutrient deficiencies and exposes chemical imbalances you can't see — so you treat the cause, not the symptom.
- Shows whether your pH is locking nutrients away from the roots
- Reveals which nutrients are short, and which you already have plenty of
- Stops you spending money on products your lawn won't respond to
- Explains thin, patchy or off-colour turf before you re-turf or re-seed
From your yard to results in about a week
Download the sample request form and fill it in. For a lawn soil test the test code is S and the crop is Turf.
Take small samples from 5 different areas and combine them — about 500g all up — in a labelled zip lock bag.
Post the sample and a printed copy of your form to the laboratory address shown on the form.
Results are emailed to you 6–7 days from the date the lab receives your sample.
Build a program around what your soil is actually short of. Not sure how to read it? Send it to us and we'll help.

Important: the lab can't process a sample that arrives without its request form.
