Two products that do the two jobs most lawns need, whenever the weeds are actively growing. They mix in the one tank, so a single spray kills the broadleaf weeds and feeds the lawn to fill back in where they die off.

For common lawns including buffalo, couch, kikuyu, ryegrass and fescue. Kikuyu, carpet grass and Queensland blue couch can discolour for a while, and some buffalo varieties react more, so test a small area first. Always check the Bow & Arrow label for your turf type.
How it works

Two products, one tank

Mix one tank

Half fill the sprayer with water, then add 50ml of Bow & Arrow and 200 to 400ml of Pure Balance per 100m², one at a time. Top up to 4 to 8L of water. Shake the Bow & Arrow before you measure it.

Spray the lawn

Cover the lawn evenly while the weeds and the lawn are actively growing. Don't spray if rain is expected within 4 hours, if the lawn is under stress, or if frost is on the way.

Leave it on the leaf

Leave it at least 4 hours before any water goes on, longer is better. Hold off mowing for 3 to 4 days before and after. Weeds can take up to 6 weeks to die off completely, smaller ones go faster.

Both are liquids you spray on, and they can be mixed in the one tank. Leave it on the leaf for at least 4 hours before watering. Avoid mowing for 3 to 4 days before and after.

Good to know

Which weeds does it kill?+
Bow & Arrow is a selective broadleaf weed killer. It targets bindii, clover, creeping oxalis, dandelion and a wide range of other broadleaf weeds, while leaving common lawn grasses unharmed. It is not for grassy weeds like nutgrass or winter grass.
Is it safe on my turf type?+
It suits common lawns including buffalo, couch, kikuyu, ryegrass and fescue when used as directed. Kikuyu, carpet grass and Queensland blue couch can show some discolouration that grows out. Some buffalo varieties react more, so test a small area before you do the whole lawn. Always read the Bow & Arrow label for your grass and rate.
How and when do I apply it?+
Apply when the weeds and the lawn are actively growing. Mix 50ml of Bow & Arrow and 200 to 400ml of Pure Balance per 100m² into 4 to 8L of water and spray the lawn in one pass. Leave it on the leaf for at least 4 hours before watering, and don't spray if rain is expected within 4 hours. Avoid mowing for 3 to 4 days before and after. Don't apply if the lawn or the weeds are under stress, or when frost is on the way.
Can I mix them in one tank?+
Yes. Bow & Arrow and Pure Balance can go in the same tank and be sprayed together, so you weed and feed in one pass. Half fill the tank with water, add each product one at a time, then top up. Measured into the same jug without water, they can react. Use the calculator above to work out the amounts for your lawn size.
How soon will I see results?+
Smaller weeds go faster. Complete weed death can take up to 6 weeks, so give it time before you go again. Pure Balance drives a green-up over the same period as the lawn recovers.
Can I over-seed after using it?+
Not straight away. Bow & Arrow has a residual effect, so over-seeding within 3 months of spraying can stop the new grass from establishing.
What about ongoing feeding?+
Once the weeds are under control, keep feeding through the growing season with the Pure Lawn Tips Mix for regular liquid nutrition.
