How it works

Keep it green in three steps

Mix

Half fill the sprayer with water, then add Pure Iron+ and Pure Seaweed+ at 200 to 400ml and Pure Colour at 12 to 24ml per 100m², one at a time. Top up to 6 to 8L of water. On a dormant, brown lawn use Pure Colour at 50ml per 100m².

Spray

Cover the lawn in one pass with a sprayer. Leave it on the leaf for at least 4 hours, so the iron is taken up through the leaf and the colour doesn't wash off, then water in with at least 6mm.

Repeat

Start in mid to late autumn, before the cold and frost take the colour out. Reapply monthly or as needed through winter.

Mix into 6 to 8L of water per 100m². Half fill the tank with water, add each product one at a time, then top up. Measured into the same jug without water, they can react. Use 24ml of Pure Colour for the first application, less if the lawn still has colour in it. Leave it on the leaf for at least 4 hours, then water in with at least 6mm.

When should I use it?+
Start in mid to late autumn, before cold weather and frost take the colour out of the lawn, and keep going through winter. Reapply monthly or as needed to keep the colour up.
Will it really keep my lawn green in winter?+
Pure Colour adds instant colour and Pure Iron+ drives a green-up, even as growth slows in the cold. How green depends on how dormant your lawn goes.
Can I mix all three together?+
Yes. They go in the one tank and spray on in one pass. Half fill the tank with water, add each product one at a time, then top up to 6 to 8L per 100m². Leave it on the leaf for at least 4 hours before watering. Then water in with at least 6mm.
How much Pure Colour do I use?+
Use 24ml per 100m² for the first application. If the lawn still has colour in it you can go lower, down to 12ml. If the lawn has gone dormant and brown, use 50ml per 100m².
What turf types does it suit?+
Couch, kikuyu, buffalo, zoysia, cool-season lawns and all other grass types.
What about the warmer months?+
Switch to the Pure Lawn Tips Mix for feeding through spring, summer and autumn.
Anything to watch out for?+
Iron and the pigment can stain concrete and pavers, so hose off any paths after spraying.
